The Ottawa Valley Branch International Women’s Day event focused on “Networking with Intention,” featuring an engaging presentation by Melissa Hammell from Bridge Building Group on building meaningful, purposeful connections. Participants then took part in the interactive “100 Cups of Tea” exercise to practice intentional networking in real time. Using Slido polls and word clouds, attendees assessed their networking skills before and after the session, showing a clear increase in confidence and effectiveness, and reinforcing the impact of intentional connection-building.
