2026 OPWA and CPWA NPWW Awards

The Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) and Canadian Public Works Association (CPWA) are once again recognizing excellence in public works with the National Public Works Week (NPWW) Awards. These awards honour creativity, public outreach, education, and engagement that took place during NPWW 2026.

Nominations are open for the 2026 OPWA and CPWA NPWW Awards:

  1. The Bruce Brunton Award for municipalities with a population of 100,000 or more​
  2. The Roger Brown Award for municipalities with a population less than 100,000 ​
  3. First Time Entry for Regional and Local Municipalities

Ontario municipalities are encouraged to submit their nominations — this is your chance to recognize the people and programs that made a difference in your community.


How to Nominate

  • Deadline: Friday June 12th, 2026
