STILLWATER WETLAND SITE TOUR
Join the OPWA Ottawa Valley Branch for a site tour of the Stillwater Flood Protection and Wetland Restoration Project (near Corkstown Road and Moodie Drive) May 20th, 2026 from 12pm to 2pm.
Initially prompted by Stage 2 LRT construction, this project combined flood risk management with large-scale wetland restoration. A win-win situation emerged for stormwater/flood management via restoration to a more natural meandering stream and newly-built wetland feature.
This tour offers a valuable opportunity to see how infrastructure and natural systems can work together.
